As set out in our 2023 Entries Process, we suspended for new entries at noon today, 12 October, 10 days after entries opened.
Payments and substitutions can still be made: note that crews are not baselined for subs untill the official Close of Entries at noon on 20 October although subs that change a crew’s CRI will result in reassessment of the crew for acceptance.
Thank you to the 141 clubs who have entered the race this year. We have received 609 entries and can accommodate only 450 or so crews. Therefore, around 159 crews with lower CRIs will, unfortunately, not be able to race.
The five crews who have yet to pay for their entries, despite multiple reminders, need to pay very promptly if they wish these crews to be considered for acceptance.
We are now starting the process of applying our entries process to identify the crews we will accept and to allocate visiting crews whom we plan to accept to host clubs. Please bear in mind that this takes some time and the volunteers doing this work have other commitments. We expect to start accepting crews and notifying them and host clubs about boating on Sunday afternoon, 15 October.
