Entries for the Fours Head 2025 were suspended as planned on Thursday, 23 October. The race is FULL and we do not expect to re-open for additional entries before the Official Close of Entries at noon on Friday, 31 October 2025 unless there are substantial numbers of withdrawals between now and then.
All entries that were live at the point of suspension have now been accepted; thank you to all clubs for ensuring that these were paid, and that placeholders will filled, which were pre-requisites for acceptance. The quality of entries administration by clubs has been high, and we appreciate that.
Between now and the Official Close of Entries, clubs should ensure that they:
- Withdraw any crews that will no longer be able to race – we will give a full refund for withdrawals before the Official Close but no refunds will be made for scratchings after that point.
- Make an subs they know about before then – crews will be baselined at the Official Close of Entries, after which the 50% rule for subs applies.
- If you are a visiting club and are sharing a trailer with another club (which we strongly encourage for environmental and logistical reasons) and have not already been in touch with the Entries Secretary about this (or included this info in BROE), please let her know your trailing plans by emailing entries@fourshead.org.
- If you are visiting club boating from Putney Embankment, please email entries@fourshead.org with the name and phone number of your trailer driver, and the DAY when you expect to arrive and leave Putney (i.e. are you bringing the trailer for the Junior Fours Head on Friday, and are you staying on for the Veteran Fours Head on Sunday) to optimise communication and co-ordination of parking in this busy area.
We expect to publish the start order on Sunday, 2 November 2025.
