The Committee very much hopes that the 2020 race will take place, but this will only be possible once British Rowing has cleared affiliated competitions to restart in their Returning to Rowing guidance. Various other criteria outside our control will also need to be met (such as approval from the necessary authorities, and sufficient host clubs feeling able to accommodate visiting crews).
At the moment (June 2020), it is too early to tell what the situation will be in November.
We will issue a further update in the week commencing 21 September 2020.
If – at that point – we expect the race to go ahead, entries will open on BROE2 on Monday, 5 October 2020.
